Overture – a luxury 45ft cruising catamaran is available to take discerning visitors out onto the magnificent waterways of the Queen Charlotte Sound for a whole or half day of sightseeing, entertaining and exploration. An experienced fishing guide can be provided for those wanting to try their luck while wedding parties and other special celebrations are especially welcome. Choose from a number of whole or half day options and experience one of New Zealand’s natural wonders up close and in luxury onboard Overture.

Overture is a 45 foot (13.7m) long, 16 foot (4.8m) beam, 260 hp powered catamaran launch.

The large main saloon provides spacious lounge seating with large windows for sheltered viewing.

Rates
The following prices for a full or half day charter of Overture include the vessel, fuel, and skipper, together with morning and afternoon teas and are inclusive of tax. Agent enquires are welcomed.
Full Day Scenic Cruise (Inner or Outer Sound)
- High Season (1 November to 30 April) - $1,290
- Low Season (1 May to 31 October) - $980
Half Day Scenic Cruise (Inner Sound / Grove Arm)
- High Season (1 November to 30 April) - $980
- Low Season (1 May to 31 October) - $790
Overnight or extended charters
- Contact us for details. Rates will vary depending on length of charter, number or guests, activities and cruising area.
Special events and exclusive guided fishing charters
- For weddings, celebrations, conference breakouts, small group guided fishing charters, VIP, and other special events, contact us to discuss your requirements.
Notes:
- Full Day cruisers depart at 10:30 am and return at 4:30 pm. Times may be varied to suit the party
- Half Day cruisers depart either at 9 am or 1 pm and return either at midday or 4 pm.
- Guided Fishing inclusive of bait, tackle, rods, and our experienced fishing guide for up to 6 guests – add $150 to the Full Day seasonal rates above
